Neat sentences seen or heard today

“I remember this one time when I watched a cruel despot destroy my home planet. I found it very hard to deal with this” – from my SW Identities profile. Really? I remember this one time? I use that phrase to describe a good meal.

Habemus Papam! – Pope Francis. I approve. Seems auspicious.

“Read a fictional book.” – Hee Hee. Bet you can’t.

Why does Pope Francis seem auspicious?

    • I like the name.

It is a good Irish name. And I like those.

I have a Aunt Frances and she is pretty cool.

There are three saints at least called Francis. St. Francis of Assisi, St. Francis de Sales, and St. Francis Xavier.

Pope Francis has apparently lived a frugal life of simplicity and with a strong mission towards aiding the poor. This is well aligned with St. Francis of Assisi and hopefully speaks towards the kind of papacy he will attempt.

All together and I say auspicious.
